If you have taken your dog to the vet in recent months, they perhaps have mentioned the Dog Flu. Also known as Canine Influenza, the dog flu can rapidly spread through dogs because they have no natural immunity to the strain.

At Dog Tired, we want our clients to be aware of causes and preventions of any ailment that can harm their pet. The dog flu was originally seen around 2004. Within this year, 2018, there has been an increase in the number of dogs affected. The starting symptoms include a cough that ranges from 10 to 30 days, and green discharge from the nose.  It is advised by Veterinarians to have your dog be administered with the Dog Flu vaccine, but it is ultimately up to you as their owner.

We love our pets like family and want what is best for them, and we want the same for your pet! Ask your Vet about the Dog Flu to learn more!
